Two Auto Accidents Near Miami, County Pond Kills Three, Seriously Injures Four

A fatal auto accident in Miami County, Kansas killed three people over the weekend in an accident that happened on 169 Highway in Paola, Ks.  Two collisions near a pond off the highway resulted in the death of an infant and two female drivers.  At least five others were hospitalized with serious injuries following the crash. Police say the accidents were caused by icy road conditions.
