Two Injured In Kansas City, Missouri When Car Hits Concrete Barrier

Interstate 670 in Kansas City, Missouri was the scene of an accident around 7:20 a.m. Friday.  A car traveling eastbound on I-670 near Genessee Street struck a concrete barrier.  According to witnesses, emergency crews pulled a child in a safety carrier from the car.  At least two people were taken to area hospitals for treatment.  There has been no update on the extent of their injuries or why the car struck the barrier.
