Two-Year-Old Dies in Farming Accident near Scandia in North-Central Kansas

A 2-year-old Belleville boy recently died after being run over by a payloader tractor near Scandia in north-central Kansas. The boy was with his father, who was strapping down large hay bales that had been loaded onto a semitrailer. Police reported that the tractor was being backed away from the trailer when the boy ran into its path and was run over.  He later died at the hospital.
