Tylenol recall expanded to cover 27 products including Rolaids
McNeil Healthcare, the makers of Tylenol, announced this week that it is recalling some of the most popular over-the-counter medications due to chemical contamination.
Our Kansas City attorneys at The Roswold Law Group have compiled this listing of the products recalled. To determine if you have a drug that has been recalled, go to the McNeil Healthcare website and scroll down until you see a picture of your medication. Check the NDC code number, the UPC number, and especially the lot number. These numbers are on both the external packaging and on the bottle itself.
If you need help determining if your product has been recalled, call McNeil Healthcare’s Consumer Care Center at 1-888-222-6036.
If you own one of these products, stop using it immediately. Call McNeil to learn how to get a free replacement or refund.
If you have taken the medicine, don’t panic. The contamination is not life threatening to consumers, but it may cause stomach illness.
