Was Distracted Driving the Cause of a Christmas Eve Crash that Killed One Teen and Injured Three Others?

A 17 year-old victim in a tragic Kansas City auto accident has died of injuries suffered in the crash.  The accident, which happened around 2:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve was caused when one vehicle lost control at 91st and Nieman Road and hit a light pole before rolling to a stop in a empty parking lot.

At Roswold Law Group, we are saddened to hear this young victim lost his battle.  Our experienced Kansas City Auto Accident and Injury Attorneys would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the victim of the tragic accident.  We hope this tragedy serves as a lesson to all Kansas City motorists.  Distracted and inattentive driving is very dangerous and at the end of the day, is against the law.  Nothing good can happen when you choose to break traffic laws.  These laws exist to keep you and other motorists safe.  Our hope is future drivers use safe and attentive driving practices to keep the roads safe for future generations.

Teenage drivers in Kansas City are far more prone to serious injury in case of a car accident because of a lack of experience.  For more information on teen driving, check out our informative article on Safe Driving Tips For Teen-Aged Drivers.
