Watch Out Aggressive Drivers; Overland Park Police Will be Looking For You

At Roswold Law Group, we feel it's about time something was done about the increasing dangers of aggressive driving in the Kansas City area.  Overland Park is taking an aggressive approach to aggressive driving.  Police in this Kansas City suburb are increasing their presence in accident-prone areas in hopes of reducing crashes.  The program started at the intersection of Highway 69 and 95th Street.  Currently, this area is under construction, which can generally increase the accident rate, but police felt that not all of the accidents could be blamed on the construction. 

On Wednesday police will be targeted 119th Street and Metcalf Avenue.  Drivers will notice a significant police presence there, which authorities are hoping will encourage drivers to slow down and obey the traffic laws. 
Another intersection of interest in the area are I-435 and Metcalf Avenue, which police report has the highest number of accidents in the city.

Police are on the lookout for anyone breaking the law.  Running light, following too close, changing lanes without signaling will not be tolerated.  All are considered signs of a dangerous and aggressive driver.
