Woman Killed in Three-Car Accident in Prairie Village, KS.

A three vehicle  accident in Prairie Village, KS. on Thursday evening left one woman dead and two others injured.  The accident in under investigation by local police.  The accident occurred when a Honda Accord heading northbound on Nall Avenue hit a Mercury Sable heading eastbound on 69th from southbound Nall.  A third car sitting at 69th Street was also hit in the incident. 

The passenger of the Mercury, a 67-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of Mercury and the driver of the Accord were both taken to an area hospital for treatment for serious injury suffered in the multi-car crash..

Authorities said that speed did not appear to be an issue in this accident.  While speeding may have not been an issue in this case, many accidents are caused when one or more motorists are failing to pay attention to the road.
