A 67 year-old cab driver was killed in a tragic wrong way crash on I-35 in Kansas City, Kansas early Sunday morning. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 1:15 a.m. on I-35 near the Seventh street exit when a 39 year-old woman entered the highway going the wrong way and collided head on with the taxi. The collision killed the cab driver and dealt the other driver a serious injury that is not expected to be life threatening.
There is a pending investigation into the cause of the crash, although KHP officials are already on record that alcohol was probably involved in the accident.
