Wrong Way Drunk Driving Accident Claims Life of Mother and Daughter on I-435 in Kansas City, Missouri

Tragedy struck a Kansas City family in a shocking way over the 4th of July weekend.  A mother and her 11 year old daughter were killed in a fatal head on collision caused by a drunk driver who entered I-435 highway the wrong way.  The suspected drunk driver, an 18 year-old, allegedly had a BAC of .185, which is well above the legal limit in Missouri of .08.

The mother and daughter were killed instantly in the crash, while the 18 year-old suspect suffered severe injuries and has been hospitalized.
