Atlas Operations Issues Voluntary Recall of Dietary Supplement Containing Sexual Enhancement Ingredient!

On December 11, 2009, Atlas Operations, Inc. based out of Pompano Beach, Fl, voluntarily issued a nationwide recall of dietary supplements containing a known sexual enhancement ingredient. The pills were unknowingly mislabeled and marketed throughout the United States as dietary supplements.

Atlas was unaware that their product contained Sulfoaildenafil, an active ingredient used to treat erectile dysfunction. They were notified after the FDA conducted lab testing, which revealed that the "dietary supplements" were heavily tainted with the sexual enhancement ingredient. Since Atlas was unaware that the supplement contained Sulfoaildenafil, the ingredient was not included anywhere on the label, making the product a 100% unapproved drug.

The unidentified ingredient poses a significant risk to consumers taking various prescription drugs for diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, high blood pressure and more because if Sulfoaildenafil is taken with certain prescription drugs it can cause an individual's blood pressure to drop to dangerously low levels. If a consumer is unaware of an active ingredient, then they cannot take precautions to ensure that they do not mix dangerous drugs together.

The recalled products can be identified by the middle three numbers/letters of the eight digit lot numbers/letters sequence. The tainted lot numbers include: 494, 520C, 520B, 520A, 520, 521, 705, 706, 779 and 807. Consumers are advised to stop using the pills and to return them to where they were purchased. Consumers can also return the products to Atlas.

Atlas Operations advised that it did not intend to violate the law when it distributed the dietary supplements. If you have suffered an adverse reaction as a result of using this drug, you can report it to the FDA at www.fda.gov/MedWatch/report.htm. You can also mail or fax Atlas Operations to report any adverse reactions.
