Results of the First Nationwide Survey on Distracted Driving
According to the NHTSA survey:
  • About half of drivers ages 21-24 admit to texting or emailing while driving.

Some experts believe that consistent enforcement of distracted driving laws, significant penalties for breaking the laws, and changes in personal behavior will be what ultimately changes driver behavior.
