Black Friday is the traditional start of the Holiday shopping season. Many people don't work on the day after Thanksgiving, so retailers offer special deals designed to bring in the crowds. But stores aren't the only places that are crowded on Black Friday; the highways and parking lots outside the mall are also jammed with consumers who have gotten up extra early to line up for bargains.

Try to find a parking spot that allows you to pull through-or if this isn't an option, back into a parking space. You are less likely to hit someone while backing in than backing out.
4. Avoid making left turns. Most accidents at intersections involve left turns. Try to plan your route to minimize the number of left turnsthat you have to make.
5. Maintain your vehicle. Check your tires and fill up your car with gas before you head for the mall. Getting stranded on the side of a crowded highway increases your chances of becoming a Missouri accident victim.
