At Kansas City Accident Injury Attorneys, we have always made it a point to be involved in our community. We feel it is important to get involved and be active. We had the privilege to take part in the 2011 Trolley Run, a famous 4-mile race that is held every year in Kansas City, Missouri to support the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired.

This year's race was held on April 17, 2011 and thankfully the weather was mild because an astonishing 10,000 runners showed up to support the center. Our law firm sponsored attorney James Roswold, his nephew Robert Adams, and staff member Glenda Seeger in this year's race.

More impressive than the 10,000 participants is the fact that over 8,400 runners finished the race. MacDonald Ondara finished with the best time among the men, finishing the 4-mile race in 17 minutes and 59 seconds. Jane Kibiii had the best time among the women who participated, completing the trek in 20:16. The average finishing time was 46:02. It was a wonderful day.

The work being done at the Children's Center for the Visually Impaired helps visually impaired children of all ages to overcome their disability and maximize their potential. To find out how you can get involved, visit the CCVI website.
