Fifth, we believe that you should learn about how your attorney will keep you informed about how your case is proceeding. In our practice, we will provide you with correspondence related to your claim and discuss the status of your case with you at any time. E-mail is one cost effective and efficient means of communication that our clients often appreciate.

Sixth, you should learn about the attorney who will actually be working directly on your case. You and your attorney should have a clear understanding as to who will be handling matters in your case. While there are some aspects of a case that do not require the attention of a senior attorney, you are hiring an attorney on the basis of his skills and experience and should be sure that he will be involved in the most important matters and will be the primary attorney trying the case for you in the event that trial becomes necessary.

Seventh, get a referral from an attorney that you know.
