Kansas City Dangerous Drugs: The maker of Tylenol recalls more than 40 children's medications.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare, the makers of Tylenol, announced a voluntary recall of more than 40 over-the-counter drugs for children, including Children's Tylenol, Children’s Motrin, Children’s Zyrtec, Children’s Benadryl, Tylenol Infant Drops and Motrin Infant Drops.

These drugs are being recalled as a precautionary measure because they do not meet quality standards. Some products may have higher concentrations of the active ingredients; others have inactive ingredients that do not meet testing requirements.

At this time, no one has been hurt from these products. However, larger than prescribed doses of some of these medications may cause serious side effects. Consumers are advised to stop using them immediately.
