The Suit You Didn’t Choose

Interestingly, studies have shown that only about 5% of the lawsuits in court are personal injury cases. And you know what, none of my clients ever wanted to have a case. None of my clients wanted to be seriously injured due to the negligence of another. This wasn't something any of them chose. It was something that they were stuck with.

I hear it all the time, people seeking my help want me to know that they are not sue people, that they don't want to bring a case. And of course that's true. Nobody ever wants to be injured and have to bring a case. But then they are seriously injured and damaged, seriously injured and damaged due to the fault of another, and they have no choice but to protect their rights, and there's only one way to do that and that's to bring a claim. If that claim cannot be resolved fairly, there is no choice but to bring a lawsuit. Otherwise, they are simply at the mercy of the insurance company.

When we represent seriously injured people due to the fault of another, we work up these claims thoroughly. It's the only way that we are able to settle most of our case without having to file suit.
