Who Ultimately Determines The Value Of My Case?

It is during the demand preparation process that we begin to have some concrete understanding of the value of your case and can truly assess all of the factors that are set forth above.

After we have carefully and exhaustively evaluated all of these factors, including their strengths, weaknesses, and relative impact on the value of your case, we discuss the case with you in detail and determine a likely range of settlement. Following a discussion of the probable settlement range, we will submit a comprehensive demand package to the insurance company with the expectation that the insurance company will pay a settlement within that range based upon a claim that has been properly and fully documented on your behalf.

Our job is to prepare the strongest case possible on your behalf and then, based upon our education and decades of experience, give you all of the information and advice that you need to make informed decisions concerning your case. You are in control of your case, the ultimate decision-maker concerning the directions that we take. This includes the settlement demand and whether to resolve your case for the highest negotiated resolution or file a lawsuit, and whether to continue the litigation through trial or resolve the case during litigation.

Again, we are able to resolve the majority of the cases we handle without the necessity of suit in large part because of our vast experience and ability to fully document the liability and your injuries and damages. Because of our vast experience in the area of personal injury law, it is generally wise to seriously and carefully consider any and all recommendations we make as to the value of your case and the directions to take that are likely to result in the best net recovery to you. In the end, your net recovery, along with the restoration of your health and any other stated concerns that you express to us, are always our ultimate goals.
