6 year-old Boy Dies in Swimming Accident at Amusement Park

A 6-year-old boy died in a swimming pool accident at Knoebels Amusement Park in the Knoebels Crystal Pool in Elysburg, Pennsylvania. According to investigators, the fatal child accident happened on July 6, 2011. Reports indicate the young boy was spotted under the water by lifeguards who pulled him to safety and administered CPR.

The child was then taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
