Be Alert at Work! On the Job Accidents Involving Machinery can Cause Serious Injuries

A man was injured in a work place accident that happened on the campus of Scranton University in Scranton, PA.  The work related injury accident happened on February 23, 2011 when a fork lift that was extended nearly six feet snapped and sent chunks of machinery scattering.  A warehouse worker was struck in the back by a piece of mechanical debris.  He was treated by emergency personnel and rused to a community hospital.

OSHA is investigating the accident.
