Build-a-Bear Workshop Recalls Loves.Hugs.Peace Pins in Kansas and Missouri

The Build-A-Bear Workshop out of St. Louis, Missouri has issued a recall on Love-Hugs-Peace lapel pins cecause of a high level of lead that violates Federal lead paint standards. The dangerous product recall was issue by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on August 4, 2011.

"The 1.5 inch lapel pin features graphics of a heart, bear head, and peace sign all positioned in front of a globe. The words ‘Love.Hugs.Peace.' appear at the bottom of the pin," reported the CPSC.

If you purchased one of these pins, you can return the the item to any Build-A-Bear Workshop store to receive a $5 store coupon or contact Build-A-Bear for alternate instructions on receiving a refund.
