Chil injured when bus is rear ended by teen in Kansas City

A child was hurt in a rear end collision at an intersection just before noon in Kansas City, Mo. The pre-school aged child had been picked up by the bus from Winwood Elementary School and was going home. The accident happened around 11:35 a.m. at the 41st Street and North Brighton Avenue intersection. The bus was coming to a stop when it was struck from behind by a truck driving by a 17 year-old.
Police cited the teen-age driver for careless and imprudent driving.
