Child Killed in Hit and Run Accident in Grandview, MO.

A 4 year-old girl suffered serious injury in a hit and run accident in Grandview, Missouri on Sunday September 19, 2010.  The little girl's body was discovered by neighbors around 1:30 p.m.  It is believed she may have been coming home from playing at a neighbor's house.  She was taken to the hospital where she died from her catastrophic injuries. 

"I was coming outside to start my barbecue grill when I happened to see a little girl, 4 years old, in the street, bleeding," reported one of the neighbors who discovered the victim's body.

Police are seeking the driver of a brown or gold-ish pick up truck that may have been involved in the tragic accident.
