A six year old boy nearly suffocated after becoming trapped in an inflatable obstacle course at a carnival at Lakewood Elementary school in Kanas City on Thursday. The boy was rescued by and employee of the equipment supply company before being resusicated by members of the Clay County sheriff's department, who were on hand running a child identification booth.
The boys was taken to Children's Mercy Hospital, where he received ventilation treatment upon arrival. He was still recovering in the hospital on Friday.
“No one has ever become stuck in such a way as this, where they couldn’t breathe,” Fun Services of Kansas City marketing director Adam Brown said in a statement on Friday. “We still don’t know how he got in the position he was in and are taking immediate measures to ensure the continued safety of our guests, as we have always done.”
The Missouri accident and injury lawyers at the Kansas City Accident Injury Attorneys in Kansas City would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to the boy and his family involved in this accident.
