Child on Bicycle Hit by SUV

Kansas City MIssouri was the scene of an accident involving a 10-year-old boy and an SUV Monday evening. The boy was riding his bike at the intersection of North Lister Avenue and Northeast Russell Road, near Eastgate Middle School, when he rode through a stop sign and into the path of an oncoming SUV. The boy suffered head injuries, but police report he will be all right.
The driver of the SUV was not injured and cooperated fully with the police.
