Construction Worker Killed in Trucking Accident

A construction worker was hit and killed by a semi-truck while working on Interstate 7 near State Route 82 in Brecksville, Ohio. The fatal worker injury accident happened on November 10, 2011 according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol investigating the accident.

The worker killed in the crash has been identified as 40 year-old John Costlow. Reports from the scene indicate that Costlow was working installing construction signs along the highway when he was struck by a semi-truck that had veered off the road. The driver of the big rig pulled over immediately. He has admitted he had dropped some papers and had bent over to pick them up and by the time he noticed Costlow was in his path it was too late.

Authorities are conducting further investigation including standard drug and alcohol testing.
