Crash on K-10 kills one; hospitalizes two more with serious injury

One person is dead and two more are in the hospital after a tragic crossover accident on K-10 near DeSoto, Kansas on Thursday.  Police say the accident was caused when a woman driving a car in the eastbound lanes went across the median and collided with a FedEx truck traveling west on the highway.  The woman was killed instantly, while a passenger in her vehicle as well as the driver of the truck were both seriously injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.

The accident shut down Kansas Highway 10 for several hours.
