Crossover Accident on I-44 in Eureka, MO. Claims one life, injures 5

A 20 year-old man was killed in a crossover highway accident that happened on I-44 near Eureka, Missouri on October 10, 2010.  According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident was caused when the 20 year old driver lost control of his vehicle and crossed over into oncoming traffic, colliding with a car carrying five passengers.  The family of five, which included three children, were also taken to the hospital with serious injuries. 

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
