Driver Goes Airborne from I-35 in Kanas City, Nearly Hits Building

The exit ramp off northbound I-35 onto Broadway near downtown Kansas City was the site of a dangerous crash for the second time in just over a month.  A car exiting the highway went airborne and nearly hit a local business building, instead landing on a fence inches shy of the building.  The driver was not injured in the accident.

According to the owner of the business, the last accident in July resulted in a twenty foot crater in the side of the building, which is still under repair.  The accident marks at least the fourth time in fifteen years that a car has hit or nearly hit the building.
