Driver Loses Control, Crashes Into Semi

Kansas City, KS was the scene of a traffic accident on 12th Street near the James Street viaduct Thursday night around 11:30 p.m. The driver of a car apparently lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line and struck a UPS semi.
Fire crews had to cut the automobile driver from his car. The driver was taken to a metro hospital in critical condition. The driver of the semi was not injured.
