Drunk Driver Launches SUV into Roof of House

A 20-year-old male driver was speeding through the intersection of Kensington and 43rd after a night of drinking with two friends when he ran his car onto a residents lawn. The hill launched his car into the air and it landed in the roof of the house. The house was occupied by eight people none of whom were injured. They had been watching TV in another room when they heard the crash. The driver was taken to the hospital for injuries and is being charged with drunk driving. The family will be unable to return to their home, but are being aided by the American Red Cross.
