Elderly Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident involving Teen Driver in Kansas City

A 77 year-old woman was killed in a pedestrian-auto accident that happened on Monday August 29, 2011 at the intersection of 79th street and Jarboe in Kansas City, Missouri.

According to Kansas City Police the woman may have been in the middle of the road when she was struck by a teenager on his way to school at a nearby high school.

The victim, who was identified as Ann Johnson of Kansas City was hospitalized with critical injuries and would end up passing away on September 6, 2011.
