Fatal Crash in Kansas City involved car, truck and motorcycle

One man was killed and four people suffered serious injury in a multi-vehicle accident that was caused by one of the vehicles running a stop light.  The accident happened at 23rd Street and Cleveland Street in Kansas City, Missouri on Monday September 27, 2010 when a car and a pick up truck collided in the intersection.  The crash caused the truck to flip over and land on top of a motorcycle parked in at a red light in the intersection.

The rider of the motorcycle jumped from the bike just before it was crushed and suffered serious injuries.  The man in the truck was killed in the crash.  Three women riding in the car that collided with the truck were also seriously hurt and hospitalized.
