FDA and McNeil Healthcare issues recall on several Rolaids products

The Food and Drug Administration in conjunction with McNeil Consumer Healthcare have issued a product recall on several lots of Rolaids antacid products because the tablets may contain a foreign substance including possible metal and wood products.  The product recall includes the following ROLAIDS products: Extra Strength Softchews, Extra Strength plus Gas Softchews and Multi-Symptom plus Anti-Gas Softchews.

If you have purchased one of these recalled products, contact McNeil Consumer Healthcare at the Rolaids website or call 1-888-222-6036.  You can call Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST or on the weekends from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. to find out how you can get a full refund.
