Five Injured in Semi-Truck Collision Crash Doesn't Go Unnoticed in Kansas City

A horrifying crash involving a four big rig trucks in a Make-A-Wish truck convoy sent five people to the hospital with serious injuries. The tragic trucking accident happened around 1:20 p.m.on May 2, 2011 near Route 15 in Pennsylvania.  Reports indicate that a Snyder's of Hanover snack truck hit another truck setting off a chain reaction crash with two other 18-wheeler Rutter's trucks.  The collision caused three people to be ejected through the windshield of the Snyder's truck. Two of the victims were run over by big rig.

Five people suffered serious injuries and were hospitalized. One of the five victims, identified as Christina Hess, 35, suffered head and hand injuries in the trucking accident. Two others have been identified as well: Tammy Freeman and Catherine Wagaman, both 33, suffered non-life threatening injuries.  The other victims that were seriously injured were both 14 year-old children.
