High Speed Police Chase Ends with Crash; Driver Seriously Injured

A high speed police chase ended when the SUV being pursued crashed near U.S. Highway 40 and Adams Dairy Parkway. The chase began when police spotted the sports utility vehicle weaving in and out of traffic. The police gave chase at speeds that topped 70 m.p.h. Eventually the driver crashed and sufferd serious injury. He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
