Highway 69 Shut Down for Hours Following Semi-Truck Crash

A semi-truck accident on 69 highway in Johnson County, Kansas forced the highway to be shut down for several hours while the truck was cleared from the road.  The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. when the truck lost control and jack-knifed, causing the trailer to flip over the median and crash.  The highway was closed down between 199th street and 207th street.  No other vehicles were involved in the accident.  The driver of the truck managed to avoid serious injury.
