Icy Roads to Blame for Fatal Auto Crashes in Miami, County that Killed Three

Police say icy roads are to blame for two auto accidents in Paola, Kansas on Friday that ultimately claimed the lives of three people including a one year old child.  The accident which happened on Friday February 25, 2011 occurred on Highway 169 near Paola. 

Two cars collided and ended up in a pond.  The crash ejected the infant and claimed the life of one of the drivers.  Before all was said and done, another accident at the same location claimed the life of another driver and sent four other people to hospitals.
