Kansas City Concerned Over School Bus Accident Near St. Louis

A school bus accident near St. Louis, Missouri injured 11 children Monday morning. In a statement from the superintendent of the Fox School District, Dianne Brown, the bus was stopped to allow a student to board when the bus was struck from behind by a pickup truck. There were 18 students on the bus and all of the students were from Clyde Hamrick Elementary School.
In addition to the 11 students injured, both the pickup truck driver and bus driver were also wounded in the accident. The students suffered minor injuries, but were taken to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.
