Kansas City Consumers can Depend on Government Website to Stay Up to Date on Dangerous Product Recalls

In order to help consumers keep up to date on dangerous product recalls, the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commision and the U.S. government have launched a new search engine website to allow people to find any and all product recalls that may affect them or their families.

The new website, SaferProducts.gov, was launched on Friday and will not only allow consumers to find out if they have purchased a product that has since been recalled, but it will allow them to also report complaints on certain products.  There are limits to what you can issue a complaint about.  For example, you can not send in complaints about food, cars, guns, cosmetics or drugs.
