Kansas City Injury Accident on I-35 Causes Delays for Commuters

At least seven cars were involved in multi-vehicle injury accident caused in the northbound lanes of I-35 near the Roe and 18th Street Expressway exit on May 18, 2011.

There were several minor injuries reported from the multi-vehicle crash. It doesn't appear anyone was hospitalized.

The injury accident wreaked havoc for commuters, as traffic was limited to passing the accident wreckage in one lane. Reportes indicate traffic was backed up several miles to the Shawnee Mission Parkway. To make matters worse, drive time was worsened by a second injury accident-collision that happened a coulple miles south, near the Antioch exit.
