Kansas City, Kansas Rollover Crash Injures Nine

The eastbound lanes of I-70 near 57th Street in Kansas City, Kansas were shut down temporarily because of a two car accident around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. The collision caused one of the vehicles, a van with nine passengers, to rollover, injuring all nine people.
Authorities indicated that five adults and four children were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The children's ages are approximately five months, four, eight and seventeen according to a news release from Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department spokesman Chief Craig Duke.
All lanes of eastbound I-70 were reopened around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday night.
