Kansas City Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 50

A man was killed in an over-night pedestrian accident on a highway in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday November 17, 2011. According to police, the victim of the fatal pedestrian accident, believed to be in his 20's, was found dead on the side of the highway early this morning. Police think the man was probably struck by a vehicle while trying to cross U.S. Highway 50 near Lee's Summit.

Reports indicate that there were skid marks near where they believe the man may have been hit. An investigation into the fatal pedestrian accident is being conducted to try an piece together what may have happened. Witnesses are urged to contact police with any information you may have.
