An auto injury accident was caused by a motorist who was not only driving under the influence of drugs but also texting. The motor vehicle accident happened on 151st Street and 94th Avenue in Orland Park, Illinois. According to police reports the injury accident happened when a motorist ran a red light and struck a van. The driver has been identified as 19 year-old Kristen D. Kozik. A passenger in the vehicle told police Kozik picked him up from a methadone clinic and was driving him home.
According to the eye witness, Kozik was texting and had failed to stop at a red light which caused the collision with the van. Kozik admitted to ingesting methadone and Oxycontin.
