Kansas City Parents Concerned after Fire at Home Day Care Kills 3 in Texas

A fire at a home day care center in Texas is being investigated after it claimed the lives of three children and injured several others.  The fire happened in Houston, Texas on February 24, 2011 at a home owned by Jackie's Day Care.  So far there is no explained cause for the fire.  Reports indicate that the fire department was called to the home and when they arrived the smoke was so thick that fire crews had to cut a hole in the roof to get in.  Infrared cameras were used to locate the children was emergency crews were able to get in.

Three children were killed in the fire.  Another four children were taken to local hospitals for treatment for burns and smoke inhilation.
