Kansas City School Bus Accident Sends One Adult and Child to Hospital

A three vehicle accident in Kansas City on Tuesday sent two people to the hospital and landed one person in jail.  The accident happened on Tuesday February 8, 2011 near Blue Valley Parkway and Cleveland Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.  Police say two vehicles were traveling in opposide directions when they collided, forcing one of the cars into a collison with a school bus.

One of the children on board the bus was taken to a hospital, as was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident.  Both of the cars were carring children in the back seats as well, although neither of those children were injured.

The driver of the second vehicle was arrested on outstanding warrants.
