Kansas City Trucking Accident Shuts Down I-435 at 23rd

A trucking accident in Kansas City, Missouri forced police to shut down three lanes of a busy highway for several hours while wreckage was cleared.  The Kansas City trucking accident happened around noon on March 9, 2011 when a semi-truck lost control and struck a median becoming entangled with the median cables in place for safety.  There were no other vehicles involved in the accident and no injuries have been reported.

The Kansas City Police have shut down all three lanes of I-435 highway at 23rd street while wreckage from the Kansas City trucking accident is removed.
