KC rollover crash sends two to hospital with serious injuries

Two Kansas Citians were hospitalized early Wednesday morning after a dangerous rollover crash on I-35 highway.  The accident happened on December 22, 2010 around 1:00 a.m. when a car traveling near the 20th street exit lost control and flipped over landing near a highway guard rail.  The driver and passenger of the vehicle suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.  It is unknown if either of them was wearing a seat belt.

The crash forced Kansas City Police to shut down a small portion of the highway for about 90 minutes in order to clear the wreckage.
