Ladder Falls off Truck Causing Multi-Vehicle Injury Accident on 470 in Kansas City

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that was caused when a ladder fell off a truck and onto Interstate 470 during rush hour. The auto injury accident happened in the westbound lanes of 470 near Raytown Road on July 29, 2011.

The car accident forced both lanes of the highway to be shut down for a while. The injuries reported from the scene are not considered life-threatening. Police are searching for the vehicle that lost the ladder.
