Leavenworth man pleads no contest on 11th DUI charge

Edsel Hess, a 66 year-old Leavenworth man, pleaded no contest on Friday to Driving Under the Influence.  Hess was arrested in July after he was involved in a minor car accident.  No one was injured in the crash.  The conviction was the 11th DUI for Hess, who now faces one year in jail.  He will be sentenced in November.
