Lenexa Emergency Crews Extricate Teen Crash Victim who Later Dies from Injuries at Hospital

In Lenexa, Kansas last week, a man was killed in a single vehicle crash his car struck a tree near 83rd and Mullen Road. According to police, the 18 year-old driver was traveling west on 83rd when the vehicle lost control and hit the tree. The collision caused a large limb to collapse onto the vehicle and pin the teen victim inside the car.

Police and on-site emergency crews were forced to cut the victim the vehicle but he had already suffered critical injuries in the Kansas City auto accident. The crash victim, identified as Nicholas Licata, was taken to a local hospital where he later died from the severity of his injuries.
